Step-by-Step Guide on How to Use Figma
- Sign Up or Log In.
Before you can use Figma, you will need to either sign up for a free account or log in to an existing one. You can do this by visiting Figma website and clicking on “Sign Up” or “Log In” button. - Create a New File.
Once you’re logged in, you can create a new file by clicking on “Create New File” button. You can also open existing files from left-hand side of Figma window. - Add Elements to Your File.
Once you’ve created a new file, you can then start adding elements to it. You can do this by clicking on “Add” button. From here, you can select from a range of elements such as shapes, lines, and text. - Resize and Move Elements.
Once you’ve added elements to your file, you can then resize and move them using selection tools. You can also select multiple elements at once by pressing and holding the “Shift” key while clicking on them. - Customize Your Elements.
Once you’ve selected an element, you can then customize it using Properties panel. Here, you can change element’s color, size, and more. You can also add effects such as shadows, gradients, and more. - Share Your File.
